These athletes have introduced different ways to exercise...that seems pretty positive to me. You're only seeing it from a negative aspect. I know plenty of people who do the "like for 2 crunches and 3 push ups" kind of thing.I'm rude? I completely understand fads and crazes, but eating disorders, depression, anxiety, those aren't jokes. Those are serious. And they're things that hundreds of cheerleaders are currently dealing with because of the image people like you are pushing forward. I've seen people go through that, I've gone through it myself, don't you DARE tell me to stay out of the way because stuff like this has more repercussions than your ignorant mind could even begin to understand and it's people like YOU encouraging it that are doing damage to these young athletes.
I'm 19 years old and I'm not "5 years ago" like you said about Cheer.coach and I have an insane amount of issues with the way you're talking.
Dare accepted ;) google "the sexiest female ATHLETES of 2012" you're so narrow minded to blame other people's body image issues on these young athletes. It's in EVERY sport. Please look at it from both sides. People idolized Kelsey and she is so skinny. Does that mean she shouldn't be a cheerlebrity? Why are you REALLY angry with them being popular? There might be good that comes out of it, but I promise you the bad outweighs the good. You know people that do crunches? I know people that shove toothbrushes down their throat to try and be perfect. You know someone who does a pushup for every RT they get? I know people who don't eat for days on end because they want to look like these girls. Keep talking. I really do dare you.
I don't care how "experienced" they are. That's shouldn't stop anyone from voicing their opinion.
