Is Pinkerton coed or all girl this year? They were crazy good this year, Obviously their good every year but like - the stunts they did were nothing Ive seen before. They start off their pyramid with a girl in a scorpion facing the front and she drops to a prone still in the scorpion.
When I first saw it it was so unexpected people were like WHOA! lol
Manchester Central was crazy good, Dovers alwyas good, Londonderry, Laconia High School, Trinity (amazing choreography), Spaulding - all stand out routines !

Some MA routines for this fall season!
Yes in MA they are! They can step off, but cannot tumble off the mat! They're allowed to step off the mat?! I've never seen that without a deduction, even in high school. Our school got points deducted. It's interesting to see how different school districts judge.
School cheer is very different state to state. I can only speak about Virginia since that's where I cheered, but crowd leading with signs is not as important as difficulty here. The cheer is very long, about 1.5 min, but it's not any different than the music portion in terms of skills being thrown. Its a sport here, nationals isn't an option, so there is a different focus. It is very much all star style with a cheer, and I personally liked it that way. They're all so great but I don't get it. I know someone already told me signs aren't necessary, but these teams all seem like allstar. When I watched teams in PA at States last year, they were nothing like this. All had signs and there wasn't this kind of talent - not at all.

There's a state championship in Richmond every year in the beginning of November. That's the goal for everyone.Interesting. Yes I love the teams I'm seeing on this thread. It's not a sport in PA. I think it should be.
Where are "finals," of sorts for Virginia and other states who can't go to Nationals?
