I can't see how they'd be any less supportive than a standard racerback sports bra. support depends way more on the material (thickness, stretch, etc...) then how the straps are arranged. as much as people on here love to judge a book by it's cover (or a bra by its straps lol), the only way to know if a sports bra is supportive is to try it on.
Wishing I was on Team Canada right now
Yes! Team Canada! annnd, they have regular sports bras! Mesh? What mesh?
This is so true. I was shopping the other day and a bra with skinny straps and a low cut had such a pretty pattern, so I'm like "It probably won't be supportive enough anyway but I'll try it on for fun" and it was fine. Super supportive and comfortable. I also found one with a mesh back and sweetheart neckline (mesh top) which was perfectly fine. For reference I'm a C. For me it's not about the style to add support but more the fabric, which was very thick good quality.I can't see how they'd be any less supportive than a standard racerback sports bra. support depends way more on the material (thickness, stretch, etc...) then how the straps are arranged. as much as people on here love to judge a book by it's cover (or a bra by its straps lol), the only way to know if a sports bra is supportive is to try it on.
