I saw it, here it is for others who are curious:


As much as I'd love to see her perform it, she struggles to perform the Mustafina turn consistently, sometimes she even messes up her Memmel like at the European Games last year (still laughing at how she made a bold attempt at re-doing the turn at the end of her routine, such a Khorkina thing to do).

The height of that punch front out of that 31⁄2 twist!! Holy cooooow!! Also, that Gomez turn was absolutely beautiful.

Shan ChunSong:

That illusion turn out of the Gomez got me giggling a little, I guess if you're going to lunge out of your turns you might as well make use of the forward momentum.

Wang Yan:

Very powerful gymnast, but rebounds and landings were a all over the place.

Just saw this and came here to post - you beat me to it :). I'm so excited if this is true - love Catalina Ponor - I just think her style is so perfect. It will be interesting to see what kind of bar routine she puts together if she does go in that AA spot - she posted a video of her doing front Giants w/ a blind full - quite impressive for someone who doesn't do bars.

I LOVE Catalina and think it will be very interesting to see her in AA. But I still think Larisa is the only Romanian with the chance of medaling in AA, and my heart breaks for her. =)

That's true about Larissa for AA. I assume this AA person they have is eligible for event finals provided they score well enough - they have to be, right? Ponor should have a chance to medal on floor and beam in EF.

Ugh so depressing.
 
Cosmopolitan quoted AR as "Not only is Angel a two-time World Cheerleading Champion and a member of the US Gymnastics team". I thought she did power tumbling and cheer but I never knew she did gymnastics too!

I would believe that to be referring to power tumbling as that is a branch of gymnastics. Unless I missed something, she doesn't do artistic.
