Heartbroken for Aly, but as she said in her interview, she's not making Rio for bars. Granted that fall doesn't help her situation but her amanar looked way better than it has in the past few years at least. (I'm team Aly Bc hometown hero, so I'm definitely biased but still).

I wish the other top kids would've fully participated but I understand saving it for when it counts. Gabby on beam was a struggle.

I've loved Ragan for awhile and wouldn't be mad to see her on the team.

I want to see Maggie return but idk when she'll be back and if she'll be healthy enough.

I love watching Maddie and Ashton on bars butttt could provably do without them on anything else.

Skinner and baumann I can do without. Haven't been a super fan of either of them for a while.

UGH I HATE THE FIVE RULE.

So was looking at results - lame how none of the major contenders competed all 4 events except for Aly. Were they literally just trying to hand her some medals?

I guess I don't understand elite gymnastics, cause I can't see how the top girls doing routines they have to practice all the time one extra time is really going to tire them out or ruin them for future Olympic stuff - but what do I know ;).

Aly
Ragan/Mykayla/Madison/Ashton

Jazmyn and Alyssa would be my alternates. Both really disappointed me last night....but whatever

No matter what Maggie brings in two weeks or at Trials, she still won't make my fictional team because the recovery just seems so rushed.

Maggie is still on my dream team, but I'll admit the timeline of her comeback makes me nervous. I don't want them to push her and force her back before her knee can handle it, but I don't want her missing out on P&G's and obviously not trials. And I also don't want to relive the trauma of Rebecca Bross' injury at nationals and her mutant knee comeback with Maggie. I'm torn.

The apparatus routines probably weren't ready for competition. Why rush it for this competition instead of taking time. This wasn't an important competition.

Ashton* Locklear (I might not be spelling it 100 percent right) She was never an athlete at CEA. She trained at KPAC which we rented space from them back in the day for our LN location. 2009-2010 2010-2011 are the years I remember my kids talking about her. I will say my kids have always been convinced she would one day be an Olympic star.

I saw Erin say her sister was on SE. That isn't information I ever knew. (Shrug) I'll have to ask around. There's not a lot of us left who around back then. LOL

It was Kinsey Davis, not Ashton. Ashton is now training at Everest, but thank you :) I looked at Kinsey's instagram after @ErinS mentioned her and her sister were Hailey and Maddie. Hailey is apparently a part of the NCSU stunt group that has dominated NCA and UCA so good for her! and their dad was an olympic gymnast. Small world, I guess lol

I'm trying to ask around.......Hailey and Maddie Davis were the sisters. I remember their little sister but I can't find much online. LOL Hmmmm Ashton Lockhart Very interesting ~!!!!!

Okay so according to Google Kinsey is Junior Elite....wow....that is very interesting information. Good for her. You go little Davis!!!!!

I initially asked because Kinsey looks identical (IMO, at least) to Maddie and I thought they were the same kid. Then I realized it's been a few years and Maddie is to old to be competing Junior Elite gymnastics lol No clue if Kinsey ever cheered.

I vaguely remember about the dad after my Hayley reminded me.......all very interesting!!!!

I said Kinsey Davis (not Ashton Locklear) and at one point she had two sisters on SE
