I probably have the slowest backwalkover ever, making it really hard to get power for the backhandspring afterwards (since you're not suppose to swing). I have tried going "faster" in my walkover but I just end up losing my balance and falling over.

Any tips or exercise to improving my walkover and/or getting that connection to the handspring?

Thanks!!

Make sure when you go for the handspring that you push throough your toes! Use the power from your legs swinging down to push into the floor and sit for your backhandspring!

make sure your are squeezing every muscle in your walkover! if you arnt squeezing, you will fall over/lose your balance! to make it faster, make sure your bridge is as small as possible, and you kick really hard with that first leg- also, make sure its straight. Kick that leg as soon and your hands touch the ground. You also need strong legs. once u land your bwo, u should be in a bit of a squat, u then need to EXPLODE through your legs, and throw your arms as fast as possible
