I would have to agree with you on that one. It seems like its just sheer willpower..
or maybe its just taken at a weird point.

These are my team mates Allyson (left) and Hannah (right). Allyson is not a flyer, but she has some of the prettiest stretches in my opinion. and Hannah is an amazing flyer!!!!

I wouldn't call that a bow though, her foot is at a 90 degree angle to the camera like it would be if you were pulling a scorp..but its not a scorp
