When discussing flying there is a beginning and final position, and all the body positions in between. Flying is not just how you start and end but how you look at every intermediate step. If you set a camera at 1/32 of a second interval and take a series of still photos of flying, you will see what the best flyers do and why they are considered the best. I actually do that with my camera, but your eye and mind do it real time. They start and end correctly and stay that way in the transition. When you walk off and say that was beautiful flying, I think the positions in the interval leave the most visual impression and that includes everything from the top of the head to the tip of the fingers and toes including the face. You need to judge video clips when evaluating flying, not just the still of the end. Same with tumbling.
