They're near us, CP has been there for tumbling clinics a couple of times. I think all their 3 (maybe) teams are going to D2 Summit.

They never were a super big gym. I believe in 2010, the last time they won worlds, they only had 4 or 5 teams.

IIRC, they also closed and then reopened with only senior 3, 4, and 5. Idk how long they kept that model but yeah, that'll kill a gym.

They have a mini & youth prep team I think and 1 Jr and 2 Sr full year teams that do really well in D2.

What happened with ga allstars? Did they lose alot of athletes to Stingrays and pro cheer? I can remember when I was younger (when my older sis was still cheering) Georgia was the premier allstar gym in ga

They never really were a big gym as far as number of teams/athletes. Usually only a few older/higher level teams, even back in the day. But I think once JP (the original owner) left a few years ago, things have dropped off even more.

I don't really know, it's only our 3rd year here. I didn't even know at first they had had successful worlds teams, I was like what really?!

We looked into them for CP but she doesn't wanna be D2 so it was a no.

i would love to see a throwback theme in terms of maybe 80's or 90's music.
although with the music rules i dont even think that could be done, unless they could find a bunch of 80's/90's cover songs

or i would love to see more teams do throwback themes of their own teams greatest music or dances, etc. I think shooting stars did it one year?...

They got 3rd. I loved that routine so much. Thank goodness they came back from that NCA performance.

Generally not a fan. BUT I really did like f5 baseball last year. There are few routines I don't get tired of (including my own children's routines but then at least I have some adrenaline because I want them to do well). The baseball routine I likes because each time I was looking at it and seeing different aspect of the themes.

I felt they received higher (style) points for the new uniform than the overall routine actually deserved, especially at the start of the season. If I had been an F5 parent and had to buy that themed uniform for one season I would not have been happy.
