Struggling with level 5 tumbling practice and stunting girls that weigh 100 lbs. sometimes. He is 14 , 6ft and 155 lbs. Lots of work ahead for him.

It can take a while. Keep encouraging him and have him do stunt work as often as possible.

Make sure he focuses on technique. It's MUCH more important to learn the right way even if it seems harder at the first.

keep working (:. i know tumbling doesnt come easy for some people, i struggled with that for a while. cheer isnt something that comes easily or right away!

I am about the same as your son to be honest... The coach wants me to start working on partner stunts with one of the smaller flyers, and I don't necessarily want to, but know that I will have to at one point... and it isn't easy at first and it is almost embarrassing since all the other bigger, older guys can do everything with ease... but hey! they had to start at one point too... I know i will get somewhere someday.
