Not sure when Stingrays did but I know they did not that season because my sister cheered there and they won....but yea when they "boycott" they don't go to the competition

I think I read somewhere that is was because of Worlds and some sort of rules that they disagreed with. But that's just what I think I remember seeing some where!

Top Gun, World Cup and Georgia were going to boycott varsity/cheersport competitions due to the forming of the USASF. This was in conflict with the NACCC. Georgia ended up going to NCA and Cheersport that season. Stingrays have been at NCA every year since they opened.

The board of directors for the NACCC have allstar gyms. Since the USASF was formed out of varsity (basically) they boycotted their competitions. There were other gyms involved in this too I believe, but WC and TG are the big names that people remember.

Once the USASF and NACCC reached an agreement and merged/joined forces or whatever they did, these gyms returned to their competitions.
