Buckeye Local Panthers OVAC routine
^^^^^^^^This is Buckeye Local High School’s 2013 OVAC routine. You would probably need to be from the Ohio Valley to understand, however the OVAC cheerleading championship has basically become one of the biggest political jokes in cheer history and has become known for picking biased judges and not being a fair competition at all.
Long story short, this team got ripped off bad last year and decided to do something a little different this year… by breaking all of the rules and making a statement!! They start breaking the rules when they start their cheer at 1:05. Rules are:
-no touching, no stunts, no jumping over people, and hair has to be up (meaning it can’t touch your shoulders) Oh and by the way…
They may have received a score of only -300 something, but they were the only team to get a standing ovation… WAY TO GO PANTHERS!!!

I know this board doesn't really agree with OVAC anyways due to not having mats to begin with. But I can only imagine the adrenaline rush this team had (I hope the whole team was on board with this !). Is this their last time competing at OVAC (Thanks for the Memories on the shirt & music) or were they just hoping to make this performance memorable. I like that they were able to "break" the rules in a safe and fun way... maybe it'll give the people who organize this a chance to think about how they run their competitions....

Their coach said that they made the decision as a team! I don't think they plan on coming back next year.. I wouldn't be surprised if other teams didn't come back next year either. I've heard rumors that their athletic director was called and they're not allowed to come back anyway.
