I think people are saying that because last year they WOWWWWWED everyone from their first competition if you remember
Nonetheless they still look great.

JEEZ i only started watching elite back before worlds 2011.
i never knew that they changed the WHOLE routine around..

Keep in mind that last year they had a different coach at the beginning of the year. Different coaches take different approaches. Maybe the previous coach preferred throwing it all out there right away and their new coach would rather build it up over time. Obviously this video does not do them justice. I have seen them in person this year and this video disappoints me too. My favorite think about this team is how the perform the heck out of their routines and you can't see that at all from this. I think this weekend when we get to see a clear video and a less watered down routine ya'll will be falling in love with lady bullets all over again.

Yeah! Similiar stunts but a complete rework basically. I was surprised! I wonder why they went through all that trouble... the first one was amazing!

Last year at their second competition they dropped stunts too, so don't hate! To me their standing tumbling is way better this year anyways

Oh goodness, it doesn't matter. People who love Cali's innovative style and aggressive attitude will consider Orange boring and predictable. People who love Orange's skill and precision will consider Cali sloppy and weaker in skill...blah, blah, blah. Truth is the sport is a roller coaster and ALL of the teams in this division will look like champions and like a hot mess at least once in the coming months. That's just part of it. If people are smart they will compete all year against every score sheet they encounter and continue to make the adjustments in their routines to get all of the points possible every time they hit the floor. April is still months away. Lots of time to reach perfection.

i think people are underwhelmed because there isnt as much spotlight tumbling this year. amanda isnt doing her toe full through to double or her amazing standing pass, and caitlyn just started back again so she may be a bit rusty. if im correct, her running pass and amanda's are the same (or pretty much the same) as last year. last year's routine was something we hadn't really seen before, so of course everyone was wowed by the amazing tumbling, arguably one of the hardest stunts in history, and [in my opinion] best choreographed routine of the year. these ladies are fierce... have been, always will be. last year was last year and we can't always compare one year to another. who knows, maybe they will change the entire routine again. what matters is that this team has the ability, will, and straight up raw talent to win worlds!!

they need to bring back the *drop to the floor* "CALI!" for the ending or something like it because i have never loved the end of a routine EVER besides that one :(

Its not that were underwhelmed, its just that when people tell you that youre gonna die when you see their stunts and tumbling...we just expected a little more.

The routine is good and will obviously score well.
