It was meant to be the same weekend, but Saturday - Monday, rather than Friday - Sunday. What was it supposed to be?
Having ICU between Worlds and Summit is possibly better for International teams who have kids competing in all three competitions. Less time needed in Orlando, but not much down time to enjoy the parks, etc.
That's a real shame. Love watching Team Scotland, especially in the dance divisions.Posing a challenge for Scottish kids as our exams start on the Monday. Kids on our Team Scotland who are sitting exams may have exams scheduled on the days they will be competing. Previously they could go home immediately after ICU if they had exams.
Hopefully they will be able to work it out. I think you can arrange to sit your exam elsewhere but it means a coach or nominated parent might have to act as an invigilator, and it may mean athletes having to sit exams on the day they compete which is obviously less than ideal. That's a real shame. Love watching Team Scotland, especially in the dance divisions.
They have now pushed Summit back a day as well.
Just checked the Varsity website and it shows international divisions competing Friday with finals on Saturday.Have they said anything about pushing International divisions? I know last year they were Thursday so I'm really hoping they push us to Friday and not put us on the tail end for Monday...
