Does anybody know the process of calls? and by that I mean is it completely random? alphabetical by last name, first name? Returning athletes first, new athletes last? Girls first boys last? Cause I've heard just about all the above

@BlueCat could you shed light on these questions?

I loved the LgSr5 division last season. Every team was so talented that there wasn't a team that everyone "knew" was going to win. I love when all of the teams haw had a good/great season and it comes down to finals at worlds to see who wins! I love the anticipation!!

There is not a specific order. It is effectively random.

@BlueCat I am not sure if it has been asked. But I was wondering what is your opinion of the sassy/ sexy choreography that have been choreographed into routines in the last few years? If there are things you think are inappropriate how do you handle it in your routines? Especially in sections of the routine when one athlete is highlighted? I am talking about leg rubs, almost twerking etc.
There isn't a single, set definition of what is appropriate and what is not. We try to avoid pushing that line too far.

It was a misunderstanding. swoosh is small not fiercekatz!

calling it right now- babs switching divisions..
Care to place a bet? I'll take Panthers as large senior 5 - you can have the field.

And Bluecat for the win [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

what's the difference between international open and just open? it's too confusing for me lol

I think the only real difference is that International Open are worlds divisions. They're called international because the open divisions ages most closely match up with non-US countries. "Open" is an age designator just like Senior, Junior, etc.

But I know some competitions will separate Open 6 and International Open 6 and give teams the option to compete in one or the other whether they want to be considered for worlds bids or not.
