TXcheermom said:from being in the stands during awards at CHEERSPORT I got to talk to a cea family. They told me Holden ray was on 3 teams. I'm not a member of that gym so if that's hear say or fact I have no idea. But if a fact 3 teams is alot. They said all the boys were required to double team sometimes triple team.
We recently competed with a gym that had a kid crossing to 4 teams. I thought the rule was no more than 3? I know this kid in particular competed L2, 3, 4 and 5. I use crossovers to fill out teams so I'm not crossover bashing but I do dislike it for sandbagging purposes and L5's competing on L2 teams seems like sandbagging. I'm sure it was probably bc of injuries/illness but I also think another L2 or 3 athlete probably could have been found. I don't know the full story behind it all though so there may be valid reasons, it's just the perception of sandbagging is there.
