The comment I saw specifically said season 2 is TVCC. I just saw it again on Gabi's page lol. But someone after said film crews are in Corsicana so who knows?!

im torn on whether im a big fan of sports being turned into reality tv... As someone who is super competitive and considering how many "alternates" they have sitting around waiting to be apart of the team, id be peeved as a regular non tv member of the team. Id be thrilled for my team mates and friends obviously, but college is expensive, being on a college sport can be expensive if not on scholarship, and to have that all be put on hold so that a few members can cash in on tv fame would make me a bit sour to be honest.

*although ill add, jerry getting to meet brad pitt! I dont know why a single human being would turn down that potential opportunity.

Plus let's be honest-if they bomb in Daytona it's going to be a huge deal and mega embarrassing. There's a lot on the line, and I feel like the pressure to win has to be even worse now. These are things that would keep me up at night if I were Monica (says the person that woke up at 3am this morning to work on our routine).

TV teams don't have a good track record. The year UK was being filmed they came in 2nd. Dunbar being filmed recently was also disastrous (the year the cameras were in Orlando, I don't think they made finals and this year they were 10th.) It's like a curse almost!

Hopefully this is not the case for these guys, though.

I heard Monica talking about it on a radio station. She shared the team is ahead of where they need to be at this point. So, she felt comfortable allowing them time for appearances. Monica seems like a very intelligent business women. I don’t see her having a problem saying no if needed.

I also love TVCC. I hope the scores are close and both teams do amazing.

In Dunbar defense they won the year they were first on tv. The program seemed to really go down in recent years.

Rebel is going to milk this all long as they can. This weekend they are selling 10 autographed backpacks for $500 a piece. The proceeds are suppose to go back to the program but they are also selling clothes but didn't mention if those proceeds support the school.

I saw their promoted contest for the $500 backpacks. It's a great way to get 8 year olds trampled prior to competing.

If one of the show kids opened a poshmark or something (or ebay auction) with their uniforms/practice clothes, I bet they could probably pay off their student loans.

Someone would totally bid on a Navarro uni for $x,000 for a styled cheer shoot. I just know it.

College kids don't usually own their uniforms. They are given a bunch of warms ups and practice wear to keep but the school usually buys and retains the uniforms . In the past cp has both had school owned duffels and outerwear which she had to return, and her own backpack which they gave her. But she has never owned the uniforms.

I feel absolutely terrible for him and every other black athlete on that team. Ladarius and Jerry carried that show on the backs of their personal stories that were based on the injustices and disparities black athletes must overcome to be able to cheer at the level of Navarro. The world didn't relate to 'cheer' because of Gabi's overprotective stage parents. And now these athletes have received absolutely no support from their teammates. Even privately I'm assuming based on Ladarius' tweets. I am heartbroken for them.
