@Bombmom were you at Americheer or Xtreme spirit? I don't think anyone but the few teams they contacted in advance were asked to sign at Xtreme Spirit. We did not sign either.

I think it also has to do with age, they are VERY particular about showing minors. Incidental crowd shots are one thing, but let's say they're focusing on a couple of the girls on the main team. There's a good chance another team's child might be in the background and focused on for a particular length of time as a result of sitting near the main team. To cover those bases, they'd ask for a waiver..

@DropAndRun we were at Xtreme Spirit. I would be surprised if we go back now that they've moved the venue from Navy Pier and we have been moving to the larger competitions with tougher competition.

@Bombmom Yeah.. They announced that they'd moved venues when we were at Kalahari but wouldn't say where! I don't blame them., I wasn't a fan of odeum. Regardless, for our small program, the Xtreme Spirit comps are our big comps so we will be back. :)

I've since made the connection with your name and your program (atleast I think so..) and you guys are great! Always nice athletes and parents. I hope if not at Xtreme Spirit we will cross paths elsewhere. :)

We will be at Kalahari in Sandusky, I just don't foresee Elite internationals again. But I'm not the coach so don't quote me on it :) one thing I've always been proud of with our program is the family atmosphere and the sportsmanship the instill. The compliments are always appreciated so thank you :)
