Oh good, me too. I loved It. Now im deciding if I want to see Worlds Live, I live 3 hours from Orlando. Or If Im just going to stream it. Still deciding :)I miss Allstar cheering since my CP graduated. Although I didn't go to Dallas, I sure purchased the 2 day pass to watch the Arena live and loved every minute of it. Stress free and truly enjoyed the athleticism - routine after routine.
Maybe I could really confuse them. I will change shirts through out the day for different gyms, they will be uhh, didnt we see her earlier cheering on a different gym. LolI have a retired cp and an active cp. On 2 day comps we leave the younger one at the hotel with grandma and go back and cheer on all the other teams. It's so fun and there's no stress about your own team. We love it! I think people around us get confused though since we cheer for everyone and don't seem to have a home team. :)
You are right I think you are crazy... LOL I am drowning in all things cheer.:banghead:So, I realize a lot of parents out there will Thank Im crazy because you all are mid season of traveling, extra practices and absolute craziness, but I miss my CP cheering Allstar. She just turned 17 and decided to only do high school cheer this year. No competitions, no big hair and curls, no glitter and bedazzlement, Just friday night football, snd basketball games. ^yawn^. I come on here and read everyones posts and I did video stream Cheersport and NCA. That made me miss it so much more. I live in florida and went to Worlds with a good friend last year, her daughters team won, which really made it exciting. But I really enjoyed watching all the teams, cheerleberities and all. Its was challenging not being able to get up for fear of losing my seat, but I made it through both days. My CP doesnt like to watch cheer like I do, is it weird that I love the sport maybe more than her, ugghhh I feel dumb asking but is it weird if I go to competitions to watch without having a child perform?? Before CP started 8 year ago I had no idea about any of the cheer world, but I fell in love with it and truly miss it all.
@ParadiseMom...I understandmy oldest CP "retired" her All-Star uniform for HS school cheer this season, we decided to switch gyms, and she decided to try out for the HS team and since she's in 11th grade, pre-med, plus her AP classes, it worked out. I actually like the football games. It's her comp season that has me totally lost! My middle CP(which I regret) I made her take the season off between the transition of gyms to "clean up" skills, and the all star gym coaches and athletes have been wonderful making her feel like a part if the team, is ready for tryouts this up coming season! Plus I have a 6 yr old CP that is begging to be on an all star team!!! I had a tiny break, but did feel lost!!! The excitement of trying to run from arena A to C then back to A! The music, ect...our HS comp teams don't use music. And they break it in 3 rounds...I slight yawn, doze thru 1, 2 gets me up, and I like rd 3 which is basically the whole Shabang, running tumbling, stunting, ect... It's a big change from All Star and I understand exactly what you mean. Now, I'm curious as to how my next year is going to go?! It's going to be crazy as anything with my middle, and possibly my bby CP returning to All Star and then my oldest on a HS comp team. I think next season I am definitely going to challenged trying to manage myCP's activities ! I'm glad that my CP's love going to cheer comps! I don't think that it's weird or strange at all to go and watch the teams! I'm an ex competitive figure skater (my CP's hate skating).and I love to go and watch some of the comps I think that as parents we devote so muchSo, I realize a lot of parents out there will Thank Im crazy because you all are mid season of traveling, extra practices and absolute craziness, but I miss my CP cheering Allstar. I'm kinda in the same situation. I do still get the big comps. My CP cheers out of state so I miss the in state comps, the ones I get to see my friends from our local gyms. I went to a local comp this past weekend and had a blast just hanging out and supporting my friends kids. Who cares what anyone says I agree You do you!I plan on attending some, they can call me whatever, Think of me as a cheer parent for every team. Lol just without a CP begging me for money during the competitions
