I read this amazing poem 5 years ago and cant seem to find it. i figure by posting here, this is the best way to find it!
it was titled "two minutes and thirty seconds" it was about 15 lines long (short lines)
i need to find this poem! its the best poem i have read. The only place i have seen it was on Desoto Starz website. i contacted the owner a while back and she did know where it was...bummer...

Two Minutes and Thirty Seconds

For two minutes and thirty seconds,
you showed everyone that as a team you can pull together.
For two minutes and thirty seconds,
all things that tried to stop you, didn't.
For two minutes and thirty seconds,
you pulled your strength up and forgot your worries.
For two minutes and thirty seconds,
you smiled and performed your best.
For two minutes and thirty seconds,
you proved that you can do it.
For two minutes and thirty seconds,
I couldn't have been prouder.
For every minute that passes your life from now on,
look back with a smile and know;
You can overcome many obstacles
to do whatever challenges you face!​

2:30​

(a cheerleading poem)​

the crowd excited, happy, & screaming​

arena dark but one light on the teams​

pretty uniforms with make up gleaming​

it's nerve racking & harder than it seems​

our hearts drop, waiting for the music to start​

a blast of sound & an 8 count comes next​

performing with my team is the best part​

with a great routine but very complex​

giving it our all as we're almost through​

being sharp, tight, but having fun on the floor​

finally done, who's the winner? no clue​

trophy in sight, wanting it more & more​

win or lose as long as we all had fun​

getting trophies & jackets, the day is done​

I found it on a website called witty profiles and perhaps I missed it but I couldn't find who it was attributed to - so my apologies to the author.​

Two minutes and Thirty seconds is just a measurement of time.​

NO i dont think so​

Its more like a dream, a quest, a challenge.​

Two minutes and Thirty seconds is how long it takes to become a champion​

To know you went up against the best and beat them​

To know you defines the odds and did what many believe is impossible​

Two minutes and Thirty seconds is just time​

NO i dont think do​

More like nine months a year, five days a week, two hours a day​

Two minutes and Thirty seconds is three hundred and thirty six hours of​

blood, sweat, tears, pain, bravery, courage​

The will to surviive when you being thrown fifteen feet in he air​

catch someone you've thrown fifteen feet in the air​

the baility to defy gravity​

and challenge you body to d0 things its never done before​

Two minutes and Thirty seconds is just time​

NO i dont think so​

its more like your time to shine​

for that Two minutes and Thirty seconds your INVINCIBLE​

your body is running on pure adrenaline​

but winning is running through your mind, your heart, your soul​

your dreams become a quest​

your quest become a challenge​

and winning becomes a reality​

i that Two minutes and Thirty seconds​

But soon in Two minutes and Thirty seconds it will all be over​

and a miracle will happen​

and Two minutes and Thirty seconds will magically become​

Two minutes and Thirty seconds again...​
