thanks everyone for all the help i am looking into some places :)

I definitely should have started a thread like this when I moved to North Carolina instead of just taking a year out and losing all my skills :(
! NC is one of the last places anyone should go and end up losing skills!!!

When I moved I wasn't a member of the Fierceboard. I knew CEA were in NC but I wasn't close to any of the gyms and would have had no way to travel to any of them. I found out that there was a gym in Wilmington (where I was staying) but was too scared to just turn up at the gym and I did once ask if one of my friends would drive me to open gym but no one would. I wish I'd gotten a cab or something now though!

I hope you had a good experience in NC otherwise! Wilmington is a great city! They would've been very nice to you at the gym! I hope your skills are doing well now!

I loved it and can't wait to go back to visit. I'd definitely like to move out to the Carolina's in the future. I went to Myrtle Beach and Charleston for Spring Break and loved it there too.
I've just gone back to an allstar gym after doing college cheer last year in my senior year. The skills are coming back slowly, but I'm starting to feel I'm too old for it! Can't handle the 30 toe touches in a row jump drills any more!
