I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who believed in us this weekend and for all of your sweet comments! I can speak for all of Tsunami when I say it really means a lot to us :) Amazing job to everyone who performed and a shout out to my Super Senyasss for getting back out there and finishing strong. Definitely didn't wanna get on the plane home today the cold weather made me sad haha :( I loved every minute of this weekend and now counting down the days till worldssssss ahhh!

i dont see how gymtyme platinum got fourth. ive seen the videos from both days. Platinum looked great day 1 and even better day 2.
and other teams in the division had large amounts of deductions... Can anyone explain? i wasnt there

I watched almost the entire division both days. Cheer Command was awesome both days and CJA was too. Spirit Central, Kentucky, All Star Panthers, Cheer Factor, Cheer Express, Green Bay, ECE all showed how much competition there is in this division this year. Not trying to leave any teams out, these guys stood out to me. This whole division was tough!

For the record - GT Platinum coaches did ask cheersport to review their routine after day one. They were given back around 20 points in deductions that were wrong. It did not move them from 4th to 2nd - nor did GT threaten cheersport in any way. A lot of mistakes were found in the way they were judged - these mistakes were CLEAR when the viedos were reviewed by cheersport. Any coach would have went to bat for their team in this circumstance. Platinum was scored a 8.3 out of 10 on standing tumbling and an 8.8 out of 10 on running tumbling - watch the videos.

C4 Sr Open 5 really should've competed small limited since they have a worlds bid and are planning on going to worlds. I love C4 but I thought that was kinda wrong of them to drop down like that.

I have a friend or two at C4. They did not drop down at Cheersport. They stepped up at BUTBT. They have been Sr Open 5 since try outs. C4 coaches (to my understanding) wanted to send a team to worlds. They are a strong up and coming program so they added a couple of boys and told them they have one shot to get a bid. They got that bid so they are good to go. I think they did it right.

i just got a phone call about this. i dont want to start drama but this was what was told to me whether it's true or not:

gymtyme went to the judges and basically said that if they didn't remove the deductions they got, they would no longer compete at a cheersport competition, and that this is what they said was the reason when cheersport called jamie to say why they were moving georgia down to 3rd.

please remember, this is what I was told. I'm not at cheersport, I don't know if this is true, and I'm not trying to start drama or anything like that, but if it is true, I'm very disappointed.

Okays. I Cheer On GT Platinum. GymTyme Didn't Threaten ANYONE or ANY JUDGE. Our Coaches Knew That There Was A Mistake In The Judging. Clearly on day one Platinum did have a fall but even with the fall we should not had been placed fourth. The Whole Medium Coed Division Videos Were Re Watched Not Just Platinums. How Ever I as an Athlete am still trying to figure out how my team can Have mistakes on day one such as the stunt fall and be placed second. then on day two hitting an amazing routine with only one stunt bobble and move back down to Fourth.... But In My HONEST opinion CheerSport Is Over. The Results of this Competition Really don't matter. We Still Have Worlds and All-Level Championships People.....

So I'm hearing 2 different things here. Was Platinum moved from 4th to 2nd after day 1? (Not like it really matters, it's over now. I'm just curious.

Your initial post was before the final results were posted on the website... those were the day 1 scores

I was told we were in Second. How Ever i cant find proof of day one's results cause only the final results are on the CheerSport Site. So really No One Knows, the only people who could answer that question would be cheersport and or the coaches, i was just going by what i had heard and what i was told.

I've heard both, that they were moved to 2nd, although the results online never showed that. But, quite frankly, I have a really hard time believing that is the truth because Platinum was amazing on day 2, so there is no way that they would have dropped to 4th IF they had really been moved to 2nd. So, I don't believe that they ever had their placement changed but I do believe they had their score changed. I was so proud of GT White, they were so good Saturday (even with the one tumbling fall and the standing tumbling touchdown), we were shocked to hear of placement but since I had not watched the teams in front of us, I had to assume that they had done well also, can't see any of those videos on the Cheersport.tv, even the day 2's of those teams, what's up with that? Day 2, they tore up that stage, (one touchdown RT and a 1 performance error in the pyramid) but they performed it like no one's business! I don't care what the placement was, those kids were freaking amazing this weekend! And I'm SOOOOO proud of them! Would really like to know why people think they scored so low? I am in no way trying to say that the teams that outscored them day 1 or day 2 were not deserving of their title, just want to know why all of you who seem to know so much think that they would score so low day 1? Thanks
