Anything. 50 yard sprints are awesome. A jump training regimen is just as good. Any Olympic style lift. Running for overall endurance. I can get more specific if you'd like.

These are great ideas. Focusing on explosive strength is more important for tryouts. You will gain endurance while practicing with the team. Box jumps or running stadium stairs are other ideas. Any sort of plyometric work will help.
