Do the competition venders charge a $250. fee if an athlete misses a competition?

all depends on the registration and terms of service agreed upon when registering.

i know for example that with a uca regional for my hs team, I have X number of days prior to the event to drop a team or alter a team roster before being penalized. changes made later involve a higher fee sometimes.

All star or school? I know for All Star, after a certain date you cannot get your competition fee back but I don't know any competitions that are $250 per athlete.
