Apparently last year when I busted a tumbling pass you could hear some VERY colorful language if you were close enough to the stage. Oops.......

One year at uca high school nationals girl on my team stepped off the mat when she landed her tumbling pass, it was at the front on the mat, some very colorful language as well... and the judges heard. We had some nice comments on the score sheets.

She is like the Lochness Monster, they say she exists but no one has ever seen her!

Um...is it bad that I started following the Pope and Mamaslapaho on the same day?

I always had (it's so hard to write had instead of have :( ) my mom tape all the teams I competed against so I could watch them to see how we would place. And during one of them the team must have had a lot of drops or something and I remember you could clearly hear my mom say "well, they just lost"

Me too, but I had (and continue to get) a lot of help in that "burning out" department. If I can just make it through this season....maybe I'll be able to revive myself ;) I hope so anyway.....between my two CP's I have at least another 5 years to go in this industry (its been 7 already).

If it makes you feel any better between my four CP's it's been 11 years for me with 8 years to go. You just start to go numb after 10 years

I've been known to say..."we'll, moving onto the next team," by running tumbling before.

...of course, that meant something entirely opposite when I was watching Brandons J4 at cheersport last year.

You know you're a cheerleader when you realize that the Pope mentioned was not CSP but in fact, the actual Pope. (Went to people.com and saw that the Pope was now on twitter and went back to this thread to double check if thats what your comment meant haha :p)

I may or may not have played a little fast and loose with weekend competition curfews in our youth years..to spend all that time and money to travel say to Atlanta and Dallas and not get to see Shooting Stars, Senior Elite, F5 and Panthers battle it out was like not getting to see the main event. Good times.
