when i was on zebra sharks we had a dad dress up in zebra leggings and an old sharks top and a zebra hat for all of our competitions...:confused:

and some team at BATB has a zebra mascot that is dressed up kinda like buzz lightyear... or thats what i thought anyways...

not my gym, but The Cheer Center has a few dads that dress up and they have stars on their heads. scares me every time I see them!

my friends cousin goes to that gym, those things are creepy!

You know I don't do "still" photography :) But, we do a "flight crew" video every year and this one was at the Sweetheart Classic. It's got flag dad swag :)

oh, and the intense clapping in the long sleeve black shirt at 1:00-1:03....that's yours truly.

Can I just say, you see a lot of end of year videos or team videos... but this video is AMAZING. I feel like I get a better sense of what your gym is really about! So much spirit and support and not a single creepy mascot head :)

Bahahahaha, yes no creepy mascots :) we did have a dad last year that dressed in a full flight suit with a helmet and had "major air raid" on the back, but that didn't even last. He's a flag dad now and they stick to football and baseball jerseys :) and it's a good glimpse at the flight crew. The only thing different about this particular competition is they didn't have a priority seating area so we were all in the stands. Usually you put all of those folks from stands together in front of the stage with lighted signs and EPs yell at us (KOTJ) for making too much noise and ban "artificial noisemakers" during all remaining routines. normally we'd get that if we were making all that noise during someone ELSE's routine, but those were OUR kids and frankly they're so used to us they freak out if it's quiet! We were good little rule followers, but we weren't happy about it.

I looked for myself, since we were at Sweetheart too, but since we have the same colors...that made it difficult in that venue hahaha. That was a great video btw

I remember when we were still at CEA, there was a teal star that some guys would wear around. Normally it was Jordan Lukens, not sure if you know who he is (his sister courtney is on SE, and he is maddy gibbons single base 2012 on coed elite)...I can't find a picture thoughh

at my old gym this dad would dress up in a legit zebra mascot costume. They named the zebra "zeibs" because that was a mix between our owners name and zebra. He had a complete blinged out vest and even security (his wife) because kids swarm him at competitions!
