How does everyone feel about crossovers? I understand having a couple girls/guys having to double up on a team... but what do you feel about two teams (small senior 3 & 4) having the same people besides 4 girls?

Ha I hope this will end peacefully and for once we can discuss a topic without cats!

Hahahahaha! Bring it on! Let's do this AGAIN for the one millionth time!! haha

Some small gyms do not have a choice. Unless you have coached or cheered at a small gym (we have 40 members), you may not understand. We provide a place for anyone who wants to cheer, and in order to do that, we have a large crossover % between our senior Level 3 and Level 4 teams. As a coach, if it takes a lot of my kids doing 2 teams to not turn away other kids who want to cheer- who are not ready to be at a level 4, I don't see the problem. It's not for the purpose of stacking a team to win all year, its about allowing my more advanced atheletes the shot of being on a team that challenges them and pushes them to grow, and allowing all members the ability to cheer.

**It also provides a chance to do other things. I have a base on level 4 who is our point flyer on level 3. She's not ready to fly level 4 skills, though she can base and tumble level 4. Level 3 is giving her the chance to gain more experience in flying. Vice versa, one of my level 4 flyers, bases on level 3. They love that aspect of crossing over as well, allows them to do different things.
