At the 2012 Universal Cheerleaders Association National High School Cheerleading Championship there was an emotional family reunion. Matt Wigle, of the US Forces Afghanistan, found out he would be returning early from his last stint as a civil engineer overseas. His daughter, Jill, was competing with Columbine High School for the last time before graduating.
