Here's some news:
Those of you with access to the printed version of The Star-Ledger will find a special Twinkles print section with the regular newspaper this Sunday, August 19. The section will include Jackie Friedman's really long main story about the season, and two additional shorter stories. There will also be about 15-20 photos from Saed Hindash. If you live in New Jersey, you can find one on the newsstand Sunday morning.
So where's the video... where's the app?
Nyier Abdou's documentary should be ready about the same time. (We just did an in-house showing of the "final" cut of the video.) There's a few tweaks to be done, but we expect to release it next week.
The tablet app will follow in September. It will be free update edition of the free New Jersey Special Reports app, which is already available for iPads and Android tablets. (There's some good stuff in there already.)
The Twinkles issue is expected to include the complete documentary film with some video extras, the complete written stories, some interactive graphics and about 200 photos.

For those of you outside the delivery area of the newspaper (and those with an aversion to newsprint) ... The story will be posted on nj.com on Sunday morning, along with some photo galleries. I fully expect the video will be ready Sunday as well.

Right now it clocks at about 71 minutes. Still some cleanup to be done, but it will be in that range.

...not much longer. The full documentary will be up on Vimeo sometime tomorrow.
The story will be on nj.com 6 a.m. Sunday. And, as we know, the "hidden" photo galleries aren't really hidden any more.
