Double Full Help

Any tips for doubles? My son has landed it once or twice. He can make the rotations and falls, or lands at 1 1/2. Hes getting frustrated and wants this skill. Anyone have any pointers or things you think about that might push it over the edge?

I'm not a tumbler at all, but once i read the advice for a full that wasn't completely rotated:
Pull as you wanna make a double.
But i guess this won't help for a double?
What are his coaches saying?

I hard a hard time completing a double because I would open up and stop pulling at about 1.5. It took me a good 6 months on the tumble track making sure to stay tight and hold all the way thru till the end of the double.

The tumble track is the best place to work on. You can also lay bifolds on it, or 8 inch mats with bifolds on top to make it not as bouncy. If seen a couple gyms even use a strip of the cheer floor on top of it.

Think at it like you have to do a triple instead of merely a double.
