They had plenty of time to change their routine to fit the scoresheet. Panthers owned that division in 2011.

well they got robbed in 2012 too, soo..... almost 90% of people voiced this in 2011 and in 2012 after worlds was over, and if you didnt know that by now you clearly dont read the boards, youtube, etc. that often....

Actually i saw more "OC4L" "OOOOHH ORANGE CRUSH IS BACK" than any "cali got robbed" in 2012. Ill give ya 2011 though. But the fierce board doesn't judge worlds. They earned 2nd. Were they good? Yes, actually amazing, but give credit when its due. Orange and panthers killed that scoresheet where cali lacked both years.
Don't call me biased either, Orange earned 3rd in 2011. Cali and Panthers were better that year.

Orange definitely earned it back in 2012. They had a great routine, that hit the scoresheet, and they hit when it counted. Cali, while they had an awesome routine, didn't. I love Lady Bullets and they're my favorite team, but they when it came down to it, they didn't hit when it counted and their routine didn't hit the scoresheet as well as Orange's did. 2011 though, I'll always believe they got robbed and that they should have won. Panthers were great and they earned their title, but Cali just had a first place routine in my opinion. Whatever though, that was two years ago haha.

i dont typically listen to people who are biased for one team, obviously you are a huge orange fan, which is fine but your gonna say stingrays deserved it regardless of what people say when voicing their opinion as far as 2012 goes. But coming from an outside person such as myself, I love a lot of teams at worlds, but looking at both routines, in 2011 and 2012. I think Cali should have taken it. just like all the people that think F5 should have beaten cheer extreme.... i mean MANY people voiced the fact that yeah orange max the scoresheets, but their routine was pretty bland compared to the people they competed against.

People need to know the difference between a routine that is fun to look at and a routine that hits the score sheet. I can give you a routine that serves nothing but fierceness and still have level 4 elements in it. Doesnt matter how fierce your routine is if youre not doing the level of skills that your competition is doing.

You obviously have a bit more love for Cali than you do other teams or else you wouldn't make all your posts about "how cali was robbed." I don't know why you keep bringing up that people say cali deserved it. I don't care what they think. The only thing i cared about is what the judges say. Cool oranges routine was bland...but it hit the scoresheet. They may have not out stunted cali, but they had difficult stunts and they hit clean. I personally think Oranges routine was better but of course I'm biased. Oranges routine was different though and was definitely not your typical cookie cutter routine. Either way Orange has the ring.

Did it occur to you that if the scoring system were different, then Panthers' routine would have been different as well?
I agree that the scoring system should better reflect what the crowd wants to see. (more reward for difficulty & risk). However, until they do that, the results will not typically reflect "twitter opinion". Coaches' job is to put a routine on the floor that scores well, not necessarily one that is the most entertaining.
We had even asked the team going in that year - "Do you want to be the team that most fans think should have won - or the team that won?" Their answer was pretty clear.

Um Im pretty sure that you will find most of the creative pyramids and transitions in CA still come from cheerforce... i.e coed black in 2011 nfinity 2012
I think this routine was one of shawns better routines.
