If somebody were to host a competition, what would be things that you enjoy from other competitions and/or new ideas. This is for cheerleaders, coaches, or parents.

Controlled Music, No Stupid Theme (Spend the money on useful things), a photography company that knows Cheerleading and how to take good pictures, A filming company that allows spectators to film their loved ones (or fav teams :)), a canteen that sells healthy food and not just junk (we are athletes for a reason), a clean and safe floor with spotters, a competition that finishes on time and if possible could finish early (I took a shot), and finding something different to celebrate Cheerleaders at a competition(special awards, dance or chant every competitor learns for one comp.)

These are some things that makes me love my sport and get really excited about going to each competition...

Xtreme Shots Photography! I love their pictures!

good seating for all of us that have to sit for hours..... I hate bleachers! spend the extra $$ on a venue that has good seats
Sound and lights... NCA is the best but most others are wayyyy below par!!
Food... its just disgusting. If the convention centers cant offer any better how bout inviting some food trucks to park outside? I'm sure plenty would love the extra $$ and we may get some good food!!
No cheesy participation gifts! If I want a chachka for my kid I will buy one from one of the vendors... use that money somewhere else!
I love the jambrand admission is free... Helps when aunt myrtle wants to come watch. ( i know its built in to the atheletes
registration but its nice not to have to fork over $25-$30 bucks at these events and come home with a headache and sore a**)

This I disagree with. I've competed with and without spotters, and without is far superior. In a complex routine, theres no way spotters get out of the way fast enough. If your routine needs a spotter on a regular basis, rework it so it's safe. Freak falls do happen, but the bases should be able to compensate if they're working at their skill level.

Having free admission is nice, but I would love to see competitions move away from athlete registration and more towards spectator admission, like the Majors. Less like a pageant, more other sports.

Model awards presentations after NCA. Do not try and sell me products during awards. You have already received a TON of money from me, making awards run long at the end of what is already a long day does not encourage me to buy whatever it is you are selling. It makes me cranky.

Healthy food! I always get butterfly's and generally don't sleep the night before then it's too early and a nervous tummy means I can't eat breakfast. Having to have chips for lunch and dinner or a chocolate bar just before you go on as alll you eat that day when your not competing until 7pm does not help! :L

NO MORE DANCE PARTIES BEFORE AWARDS. That is all.
Oh, and I hate when they don't have water to drink after warm ups.

Eliminate the dance parties before awards. They're so annoying. I don't want to dance, I want to know how I did!
