Am I the only one bothered by teams with audiences that shout 1-3-5-7 for all of pyramid? This could be an unpopular opinion but I've seen it for several worlds teams for the last few weeks and I just don't understand the need for all that
ill agree, i know it was a thing for CA to count out the pyramid, especially for panthers. But now everyone does it. I dont like the trend, i think the athletes on the floor are perfectly capable of counting their own routine if they need to.Am I the only one bothered by teams with audiences that shout 1-3-5-7 for all of pyramid? I think it's just a way the crowds show their support and excitement for teams. No harm I suppose.
I don't think it really helps the teams all that much - assuming the music hasn't stopped. I do view it as a kind of crowd support kind of thing.Am I the only one bothered by teams with audiences that shout 1-3-5-7 for all of pyramid? I'll say this, it's better than when people clap during the dance...but progressively clap faster and are completely off beat!

We do it sometimes if we had been having trouble with the pyramid in the past it helps. It's just another version of "mat talk" a way to support your teammates and help push each other. I know that my team personally does ten times better when we perform with mat talk in pyramid and throughout the rest of the routine
