Even though this isnt a fullroutine, the ending is just heartbreaking, but seeing everyone support them through this hard time is amazing.

Thoughts:

1. I knew this routine was going to be amazing when I saw their showcase vid and it did not disappoint.
2. My mama heart hurts for all the kids and this gentleman's parents.
3. Even as an adult, grief is hard. I am not sure how they found the strength to go on that second day. My husband coached baseball a few years back and actually canceled a game because a kid they all knew from MS died (cancer) and the kids just could not do it.

I couldn’t do it. And as a coach, I REALLY couldn’t at the last minute rework the routine around the guy’s absence knowing he’d never be back and I’d never see him again. Thinking about his presence and all his contributions being ripped away from the team even though they were JUST THERE YESTERDAY would be too much for me.

Not sure it was reworked. You can see a girl marking stunts on the floor a few times. Very sad for them all.

I assumed maybe minor formation changes were made so everything was symmetrical. It’s what I would’ve done, assuming I could do anything at all. I imagine the team took a lot of strength in the thought that he wouldn’t have wanted them to sit it out and compromise their bid chances on account of him. If I’d abruptly lost any of my former teammates in this way, I know they’d feel the same.

This video doesn't even begin to do this moment justice, the vibe in that room during that performance was something I'd never felt before. The competition moved Nfinity's comp time, cleared the other hall, and ignored warnings from the Fire Marshall so that everybody could come out and support this team for this performance. Insane props to those athletes, you may not be able to see it in the video but they were literally performing with tears streaming down their face, and they still put out one hell of a routine. Absolutely heartbreaking situation to be put in, I feel confident in saying that everybody's hearts are with this team and this family during this difficult time.
