Although there are some teams who have attended camp together before this camp is actually not the Fly Girls/Small World Camp. The camp being held in Wildwood, NJ is called the All Star Super Camp with this years theme being "Flying High On Jersey Shores". The idea for this particular camp was put together by Central Jersey All Stars and Maryland Twisters who extend the invitation to their friends at Spirit Xplosion, Fame All Stars, and One Athletics (formerly known as Gravity All Stars from Long Island, NY). All of the level 5 teams previously mentioned will be in attendance as well as the level 4 teams from CJA, Spirit Xplosion, and One Athletics.
Similar to the amazing Fly Girls/Small World camps held in years past this camp is meant to be a huge athletic and social event with an emphasis on sportsmanship. Each program will have an opportunity to practice and prefect skill progression as individual teams however the new addition to camp is the BEACH & BOARDWALK! Many camp experiences can be all work and no play but with the All Star Super Camp there will be a balance of both. In addition there will also be "Cheer Wars" which are competitive sports activities played by each program/team to earn awards for their respective organizations and promote team/program spirit! With camp around the corner it is an exciting time for everyone involved. I'm sure there will be plenty of coverage showcasing all that happens in Wildwood!
