Hello everbody!
My Junior CoEd Level 4 Team, lost like all of there boys!
Some of them just wanted to "hang-out" more, some of them changed school, some of then just don´t want to cheer.
The girls are really upset and disappointed about that fact.
We had to kick out some persons too, right before the guys left.
So now from 18 Kids we came down on 12 All-Girls...
All of them are willing to work hard... but they are afraid the can´t do it! From having tall & big boys as backs & bases...to our pretty small bases... (we don´t have large girls ;))

How can I help them as a coach, to get motivated...how can we get started to get used to allgirl stunting... what can I tell them to motivate and keep up the hard work & just try it as an All-Girl Team???

Please Help!

(P.S. All-Star Gym from Germany ;))

You could try starting with just the basics like straight up libs and bench/extension full downs to build their confidence, I know it's not lv 4 stunts but it should help them to build the confidence of we can lift each other without the boys.

First practice is tomorrow...im afraid on one hand and excited on the other...
any tipps?

I don't know if you've had practise yet but I'd try to do a bit of everything to get them used to the feel of practises without guys there. I'd also have them work on relatively basic stunting so they can adapt to all girl stunting and work them upto the harder stunting when they're ready.

Hello Ya´ll!

Well in the begining of practice it was a teary... one girl left too, because she didnt liked her new spot as a back! (Sooo selfish!!!)... Well she quit after I told her, her new spot!

But then practice turned around... the girls hit Libs Into Block, Stretch, Block, Arabesque, Cradle!
Basic Stuff like Preps, Extension..easily...Twist Down for the Flyers no Problem...
Baskets with ToeTouches

Some Level 6 Pyramids like a Swedish Falls & a 4-2-1 no Problem...

it was sooo freaking awesome I can´t believe it...

and the shows today went good, we did the same routine as we planned with the boys ...only with the girls...

now we are 11 out of 18...but 11 awesome ladys!
