Okay so tryouts are in two weeks and I need my full by then. I've gotten it several times, but would lose it the next day. I tumble left so I'm a lefty but I previously spin right. When I spun right it would feel most comfortable but I couldn't get height so that was a major issue. So for the past maybe month? I've been Doug fulls to the left. They are so so good on the tumble trak and I can set and almost pull a one and a half because of how comfortable I've gotten with spinning left. I try it on the floor but my mind blacks out and I spin right... But I haven't practiced spinning right so idek why I still spin right! How can I get myself to spin left on the floor because its not happening and i need it so soon!!

Your first issue is not once have you mentioned being able to execute a half twisting layout... Perfection before progression will always always always prevail.

Progression exist in the rules, in stunting, even in dance... I am also sure you learned a back handspring before you learned a tuck...

Going from layout to full is like saying you learned a walkover, than started tucks...

Hopefully you do not put yourself at risk and your coaches don't push you to "chuck" a skill for a one day skills assessment
