If she went to Trinity, ACE, Stingrays and GA then maybe I'd call her a gym hopper. I guess since I know girls who've been at 5 different gyms in the past 4 seasons, I have a different definition of it. I never had to switch gyms but I'm assuming it's a very complicated emotional decision unless you're really just trying every gym in the area.
I think that she made the correct move in which suits her best. She is a young athlete who just wants to find the perfect fit for herself. We all don't know the whole story so no need to make judgements about why she has chosen to do this. You're definitely right. I'm about to move from the small gym I've been at my whole life to an elite gym so I understand that. I do feel bad using the term 'gym hopper' when obviously there's more to her story and Gabi seems like such a sweet kid, but 3 gyms in such a short time-span just confuses me. I hope she's found her cheer home in Cali!

As far as we know it just happened today, but it could've been in the works as far back as idk, say july/august? So let's say it was planned and brought up in august or even september. No one is going to put it all over social websites for everyone to see unless it is absolutely finalized with all the kinks worked out. With all this thought process about what she has chosen to do for her cheerleading career, I IMHO do not believe she is a gym hopper.
What a perfect move for her!!! I would have thought to see this move instead of the earlier move to Trinity.
Would it taint my post if I questioned if the recent accusations of recruiting and the intermingling of Johns Creek recruiting (what a mess) had anything to do with seeking another home for her. Doesn't need an answer just thinking.
i think she is home-schooled! :)Is she going to live there?
I love cheerleading, but I don't get how people revolve their lives around it to the point of moving. It is literally life-changing. Ex: new homes, new "families" to live with, new school (possibly different curriculum-slower or faster paced), and new friends! I understand there are circumstances that force certain people or families to go through this, but to willingly do it (some more than once) for cheerleading is crazy to me! Again, this is a general statement, not aimed towards Gabi, as I don't even know if she is moving there.
Keeping it to oneself is no fun. Please share!I have my own personal opinion on this situation that I'd just rather keep to my self.. but I luck to her.

but i agree with you 100%. if i asked my mom if i could move to Texas because Cheer Athletics offered me a spot on the team i think she may smack me for even considering that we would move the whole family to the other side of the country(kinda) for me to cheer. best wishes to Gabi! I love smoed!! can't wait to see how she fits in!!
