All-Star Gel Heel Cups?

For my cp I used to look for cheer shoes that had shock absorbs. But since she is a flyer they were not always great for her bases and backspots. So I got her gel inserts and they work well for her.

What a great thread. Thank you! Having this issue right now with my youngest. We were told it was probably plantar fasciitis by a trainer but I had never heard of Sever's Disease.

That sounds much more like what she's experiencing. That article recommended a firm heel pad. At least I know what to ask her ortho doctor about now. Thanks to everybody for all the info you shared!

We have several athletes at our gym with Sever's disease that use Heel that Pain inserts and swear by them. They have a plantar bar that relieves the heel pressure. I think they have a really good warranty and are relatively inexpensive.
