How well was this situation handled?

They are adorable and I'm glad they were able to still perform for the parents. My question is were they invited to come to homecoming and perform before the halftime show began or did someone think it would be cute and just threw them all out there? Because if they had been invited, I would not have taken them off the field at that point; I would have had them perform their 2 minute routine and paid no attention to that woman in the booth.

It's the job of the home team's coach to greet the away team's cheerleaders and explain what is going on with halftime. Usually the away team goes first and then the home team goes next, even on homecoming (at least this is how it has been in AYF, UYF, and Pop Warner). There seems to have been a disconnect between the girls on the field and the woman in the booth, these things happen. I've been to Orland Park and they have been nothing but nice, seems someone was a bit confused.

I understand it was their homecoming, but that was absolutely rude. Even when we play our rivals football team for homecoming, we still do the customary, we go first and then they get to go after, with the performances. but really? that lady just made herself look SO awful.
