All-Star Hardest Worlds Division

I felt that Sm Ltd Coed was the hardest. They are expected to tumble and stunt like a Large Coed but with a much smaller number. Same goes for Small Sr. Both of those divisions were crazy deep and clawing your way to the top spot or at least place in the top ten to get some validation for what they all work so hard for all year round.

correct me if im wrong, but didnt small senior have the largest number of teams in the division this year? i feel like that alone makes it one of the hardest divisions.
that and small coed had 60 plus teams at Worlds

IF it ever happened, as to stars f5 or senior elite got knocked out of the top 3. there would be world attacks, especially if it was senior elite that got knock out, i would probably hide for years. i choose large all girl simply because i dont know of a time that these 3 teams wernt in the top

I believe it was Large Senior and Unlimited Coed. The very fact that there were so FEW teams in those divisions shows that the existing teams had a stranglehold on the top spots.

That may change with the realignments and I hope it does.

It is starting to get to a point where almost all the divisions are getting harder to win so it is hard to narrow it down. Small Coed (Small Limited) had a ton of teams, but there were also a ton of super talented teams that really could win on any given day. Small Senior is the same way as Small Coed. In Large Senior it is just so hard to break into that top 3 and to even find 36 girls that are competitive enough to hang in the division. Large Coed (Unlimited) the sheer number of boys makes it hard enough. The International divisions are tough because only the top 3 make it to finals, but in the International Coed 5 division there are so many AMAZING US teams that it is a battle from US Finals all the way through until finals.

i love the fact that there are so many teams in small senior though, it makes it a very interesting division as you never know who will win!

I agree with everyone who said large senior all girl. With small senior, it's my favorite division because there are a lot of good teams and it's always a pretty tight race but there is a lot of talent. Large senior, it's the same top 3 every time. Finding a true large senior team that can give them a run for their money is hard.

I definetly agree! Its so hard for small gyms to be able to just come in and compete with Senior Elite, World Cup, and f5 and all! It seems that the bigger teams have better political ties and its harder for newer and smaller teams to even have a chance!

The top 3 are so advanced! Seeing how many fulls and doubles they have, their stunts, it's hard to find a team like that.

Just throwing this in the mix- look at the scores in large limited. The teams are always seperated by the smallest scores of any division. I think it was at NCA, between 1st place and 5th there was barely a point difference.

Several of the division have very little turnover among the top 3. You can certainly make an argument for Large Senior being among the most difficult to win divisions, but, in fact, Large Senior was the only club division won by a team that didn't medal the year before. I'm not suggesting that this means LS is an easy division, just saying that you shouldn't use the "same teams every year = most difficult" argument. Nearly every year, the vast majority of divisions have at least 2 medalists who were in the top 3 the previous year. There isn't as much turnover among the top teams as people assume.

Bottom line, all of the divisions are tough to win and it is tough for anyone new to break into the top tier of teams. It can be done, certainly, but it is not easy.

I'm going to say IO5, only because the talent at that level is simply ridiculous. And I know there were like 40+ teams this year at Worlds. Plus, with the international gyms getting better and better each year, I suspect this group will only grow in talent and competition.

I think Small Senior since there are so many AMAZING teams in that division and there are lots of teams in general in that division. Small Limited also seems very hard. It is so intense and there is a lot of good teams in that division as wellll.
