Hi again a previous post of mine that dealt with my coach and I not really clicking helped me to decide to tell her honestly that it wasn't working. I did send her a long message.... On Facebook. A the time, I thought the message was too long to text and she was usually busy patching cheer all the past two days and I didn't want to bother her by calling. Anyway, I have a private scheduled already with this instructor but I feel like instead of having her come to work early for my class (I schedule my class an hour before she comes anyway for cheer) and then telling her I think I no longer want to work with her, I would tell her sooner. Well, I'm starting to worry because she has not responded in any way. I am going to give it until Monday afternoon, but I am suprised because she is very often on her phone and Facebook I believe.
If Monday comes and she has not responded how should I communicate with her?

Send her a text and aFB message saying "please call me as soon as you get this" as well as a post on her FB page saying check your texts and messages. If she does not respond to any of them, she may be purposefully avoiding you because she knows what is coming.

Emw you have done what you can and are trying to be respectful of her by giving her notice. It is not a big deal for you to tell her at the scheduled private time and then decide if you want to stil have the private or not do it so you don't have to pay for it. Don't bare any guilt if the coach is the one avoiding you.

Ok, I agree it is not a big deal to go at scheduled time and tell her. But come monday I will text her to say I have sent her a message on facebook and am going to cancel for tuesday, and she can call me if she wants to. I might have to talk to somebody else at the gym about a new instructor for the future too, and hopefully this goes well..

Idk how you gym works, but If I had a difficult coach then I would treat it just like a teacher at school. When ever I had a problem with something in school and my mom was brought in to it she would write an email and attach my assistant principle to it. So a higher up knows what is going on as well. And since you have tried talking with her and she isnt responding I would re email her but also send the email to her boss.

I wouldn't be surprised if she is waiting to talk to you about it in the private. She probably is either hoping you won't bring it up or she just doesn't know how to handle it or doesn't want to put anything in writing. How old is this coach? I wouldn't have done it via Facebook to be honest. I would have texted her and said when you have a moment I have something to discuss with you.
