How To Get Into Nca?

Does your team need a bid, because I couldn't find any bids to go to NCA so I'm not sure if that's a thing. I am just wondering how to get selected to compete at NCA? Our team mom thinks we may go and I'm confused on how we can get there.

You do not need a bid to go. The Coach needs to register before it fills up.

I think the last time teams needed bids for NCA was about 7 or 8 years ago. The first few years CP cheered that's how it was (you had to place top 3 at a qualifying event to go to prelims and high point winners at the qualifiers got to go straight to finals). I miss it and wish they'd go back to requiring bids to alleviate some of the overcrowding.
