High School Hs Tryouts: How Is It Going?

I am surprised that no one started this thread as yet. So how is HS tryouts going?
My baby (because she is my youngest at 14) tryed out for HS last week and actually had her first practice yesterday.....She made Varsity....as a freshman, nice

On open gyms. I got my back handspring at one (Yayy!) and I'm hitting my stunts so yay again. We have Tryouts during exams on Memorial week

Wow! practice is moving along quickly: high to high pull throughs, the first week of practice......this is looking like it will be a very competitive year!

My CP made her team. She only did football cheer last year, therefore was only on jv. But this year she isn't doing All Star and is doing football and competition. They won't find out if they are varsity or jv until August after practices, tumbling, camp, etc.

Tomorrow right after school I found out if I made it. I feel like I have a good chance for varsity. I heard the coach say she loves my body positions and that I'm a good flyer. I'm an underclassman. I stunted with underclassmen for a little. Upperclassmen more. Then did a lot of coed stunting with a CEA guy helping.

I know this is off topic but I just found out that I made football cheer for middle school! Just had to share. I was so nervous but I am really happy now. U can only make basketball or football not both teams. The best part was I got to tryout with my best friend and she made it too. :)
