Japanese TV Show to Feature Graves Cheerleaders

MAYFIELD, KY - A Japanese television show similar to “The View” and “The Today Show” will visit Graves County High School on Monday, Jan. 31 to film a segment on GCHS’ national champion co-ed cheerleading squad coached by Jon Summerville.
The film crew will meet with the squad during the morning, will follow one or more of the cheerleaders through the school day, and will attend the squad’s after-school practice.
The show will air on the network Mainichi Housou (MBS) in Osaka, Japan, and will depict the reality of everyday life for exceptional cheerleaders in the United States.
