Let's say you are on a level 6 team at one gym and want to go be on a level 5 worlds team and leave the level 6 team...do you need a release?

It's if you changed gyms and plan on going to Worlds with new gym. The team you were on at old gym is irrelevant.

Forgive my ignorance on this topic! Once more question. If Gym A was not a USASF member gym, and Gym B is and will be going to Worlds, is the release still an issue?

I would assume yes if they've competed. Always better to be safe. However, i can't seem to find the form anywhere on the USASF or USASFrules websites.

This is a really good question. How can the usasf hold a rule to a program that is not a usasf member?

My guess is that if you aren't a USASF gym, you don't get the protection.

Well it seems to ask for USASF Gym #. And only the primary gym can call this into question. So if you aren't a USASF member, you can't complain to the USASF about it.
