AERO (As in AEROSMITH)- http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/aero
there should be a slight difference in the "ar" sound between themI'm a licensed Speech Pathologist and a certified Reading Specialist. I have Masters degrees in Speech and Literacy. The word "arrow" and the prefix "aero-" are both pronounced the same, WHEN PROPERLY pronounced.

I have the accent .. there is NO "proper" way to say it.. EVERYONE says it differently..there should be a slight difference in the "ar" sound between them
arrow - ar oh
aero - air oh
there is NO WAY they should be pronounced the same.
