Any idea how they did at-large? Iowa had a 8.822 when 6 other teams with higher scores didn't get one.. Just wondering. I couldn't find it anywhere..

Or they may have declined them in advance if they didn't want them..

USA Wildcats got a at large bid last weekend so they Where only going for the paid. It was done by scores apperintky cause WC Suns score was a tiny bit higher then ours. Congrats to all teams that got a bid!!!

I'm really lame and had all the teams copied and pasted into word, with scores, and then went and highlighted all the teams who already had one. Haha..

Excited for Suns! This was a crazy competition. If they have Ody crossovers, will they be on Suns for the rest of the year then? At the risk of sounding stupid, I don't really get the crossover rule for bids...lol.

Don't you have to keep all the same athletes on the floor though? Or is it the same number?

I think you have to keep the same athletes, it use to just be that they had to compete at that competition on any of their teams, but i am not 100% sure at all. But i feel like whoever crossed over would stay on suns which seems easiest, and move girls from rays or lites to make up for the other girls. what they were thinking 2 do though was take girls from lites and have them compete with suns at worlds, but i am not sure, its to early to tell.

If they have ODY crossovers then they'll have to get rid of them for Worlds because Ody will be there, too. Suns will prob take Starlites/Rays too take the ODY girls' spots...

ok... i dont mean this in a mean way.. but i was sitting down low and maybe i missed something, is anyone else confused how stars were in 3rd falling three times, but in 4th falling once??

I understand both sides.. Day 1 i said - ok they are favoring difficulty, they think its better to be difficult and fall then not quite as difficult and hit more

then Day 2 i said - ok, i understand diamonds hit and stars fell once, the team who hits should score higher..

However, I dont get how Day 1 and Day 2 conflict with each other.. I mean - Day 1 diamonds did fall, but not as much as shooting stars and shooting stars were still ahead, yet today they werent..

I am just confused can someone clarify a little? Did they switch judges up for day 2 that couldve changed it up a little, that would make sense? or did stars have more deductions today that I couldnt see from my seat (it was packed after all)

They can use girls who are on the alternate list for worlds i think , so those crossovers can either stay on suns or go back to Ody and their alternate step in. That is how I have always understood it anyway but I could be completely wrong.

Same number...The whole alternate thing is confusing though. It's a list of 10 but 3 of them are separate. Not sure what they'll do as far as Ody vs Suns. Maybe they'll wait till Ody gets a bid to decide. My guess is they'll pull from Lites.
