Ok so Ill go for it: Maddie Gardner at Worlds went ahead of her team bowed at the edge of the floor she later then fell doing her signature stunt. OH THE KARMA WoOoOoOoOoOo....It's now lived and is now dead. and we could talk about this all day long but it's not really gonna change the fact that the mighty will fall (no pun intended) but I see this turning into a Maddie Gardner fell at Worlds thread so let's try to avoid this...this isn't coming from a CEA fan, this is coming from a Tsunami/WC fan : )

I just love the super cocky voiceovers in routines, as they either fall, or lose to the team they are calling out. Ooh Snap.

Yes, I believe in karma. I guess I won't call out teams..:rolleyes: but a couple of teams at worlds who are fan favs were mighty cocky & it backfired. Sometimes this kind of stuff needs to happen. I think ACE Warriors is an example of good karma. Seems like the had a very positive attitude this year.
Some of you guys are so sour. Worlds is over. Drop it & move on.
This if off subject but I just want to say to Sr elite fans that 3rd place in the world is outstanding! On youtube all I see is "sr elite got 3rd =(" I thought sr elite had the biggest fans out there. Getting 3rd should be a good thing. They didn't hit a perfect routine & still got 3rd. Why is worlds always about WINNING? Where is the fun? Only 1 team is going to win per division. We need to stop going through the entire season just thinking about worlds. Worlds is 1 competition. It shouldn't break your season if you lose.

In that case every single team falls into this category. Every team has "you cant touch this" voice overs in their music and they don't always win.
Im a firm believer in Karma so I try to be as nice as I can, usually fail. And I DEFINITELY think some teams/gyms are overrated. A lot of people go to them because of the name, and end up overlooking the good small gyms.

Can we keep in mind that calling out particular athletes is a little unfair and inappropriate, as most of them are children (minors)? I understand if you think a team had a rude, or arrogant voice over, that is their coach's fault. But to call out a single athlete from a team is uncalled for. Come on people, you reap what you sew in life, and negative comments about children are not going to bring you good karma at all. :eek:

Not saying cocky, just saying that there are many teams that have voice overs such as "the best" or something like that. I totally dont mean like calling out other gyms.
Karma should be decided on what they do during the season and how they behave, not on what their music says.

There aren't any children on senior teams & that shouldn't be a reason not to call someone out. We just shouldn't call individual people out period. I think sometimes people just don't think about it..especially when a certain person is very well known. I don't think anyone means any harm. I am shocked that so many people on here know everything about individual people on teams. You would think they lived w/ them. I do agree that we should keep names of individuals out the convos, even if it's about something good.
Remember people, it's called a team.

Who doesn't love cocky voice overs they're fun to say . Shoot I still have a bunch of voice overs from teams in my head that I cant get out! :mad:

Ok I obviously didn't mean all teams, I meant for the most part. Its not like I was referring to the mini level 1. And I never said all teams are cocky, youre confusing the team with the music. Which for the most part the team has nothing to do with. Voice overs are fun and make the music interesting and a lot of the time voice overs say things like "its our time" or things like that. They don't say "ok now were going to let everyone go ahead and beat us"
