So, when I do pretty much any running tumbling skill (ex: cartwheel, round-off) my hands are slow in reaction and come after my body. Even if I keep my hands by my ears!! Please help me! :(:banghead:

Blocking through your shoulders should help! I never understood what it meant until my coach had me do a handstand against the wall and shrug my shoulders up and down... That's what blocking should feel like. It helps you to push up off the ground faster! So try to do the same in your roundoff. Also think about landing hollow. We have a mizzou gymnastics coach come help us at clinics and he always has us go on releve in warmups, to get that feeling into our body. That's how you should come out of your roundoff - your whole body together and hollow! Including your arms :)So, when I do pretty much any running tumbling skill (ex: cartwheel, round-off) my hands are slow in reaction and come after my body. Even if I keep my hands by my ears!! Practicing it over and over again correctly helps with muscle memory! Once your muscles know what to do it comes easily, even if you have to manipulate them at first. Have you tried any drills with bands to force your arms to stay by your ears and force good head and body position? So, when I do pretty much any running tumbling skill (ex: cartwheel, round-off) my hands are slow in reaction and come after my body.
